08:13:29 PM> CoreySevier:I enjoyed Philanthropy because I got to work with the horse and I got to act with a wide range of emotions.

08:14:12 PM> CoreySevier:I like playing soccer and if I wasn't acting, I could pursue a more professional soccer career. I play all-star soccer in my free time.

08:14:49 PM> CoreySevier:Anjelica Houston, who played my mother in a TV miniseries called Family Pictures when I was 7. She was really great to work with and inspired me to pursue acting.

08:16:51 PM> CoreySevier:I worked on the Lassie series in Montreal for 2 years and that really improved my French.

08:16:53 PM> LadyMonty:Are Dan and Nat related? It seemed like they were brothers, but in the episode where Dan seeks the vision, it seemed he and Nat had different parents.

08:17:35 PM> CoreySevier:Yes, I'm friends with everyone on set. All of the actors get along good.

08:18:11 PM> CoreySevier:Yes, I think there are some similarities but one of the reasons I love playing Dan is because it is a stretch from who I am.

08:19:36 PM> CoreySevier:Currently, I'm working on Little Men and that keeps me quite busy.

08:20:56 PM> CoreySevier:When I was a baby, my cousin was a model. So my mom submitted my picture to an agency and from there I did modeling up until I was 7 years old. I played my first role in an ABC miniseries when I turned 7.

08:21:25 PM> CoreySevier:I go to a public school but I'm tutored while I'm on set.

08:22:42 PM> Annie: As one of the older  fans, I would like to ask Corey which adult actors (Jo, Nick, Meg, Amy, Laurie, Asia) he thinks are most UNLIKE the characters they portray on the show?

08:23:18 PM> CoreySevier:Laurie (Dan) is quite a comedian in real life, however, he plays a fairly serious role in Little Men.

08:23:39 PM> CoreySevier:I like the X Files and Seinfeld.

08:24:41 PM> CoreySevier:I play soccer and rollerblade with my friends and go to movies, plus spend a lot of time with my brother and parents.

08:26:04 PM> CoreySevier:I guess I learned to appreciate more the modern-day conveniences we have but I find it quite interesting portraying someone who lived in the past.

08:26:54 PM> CoreySevier:I'd like to go back to Boston to meet Dan's old gang or something like that.

08:27:02 PM> MODERATOR:Annie: As a teacher I would like to ask if you have read the novel Little Men. I would also like to tell my third graders what books you liked to read when you were nine or ten years old.

08:27:39 PM> CoreySevier:No, I haven't had the chance to read Little Men but, when I was 10, I read nearly all of the Goosebumps books and I read many Star Wars novels.

08:32:43 PM> CoreySevier:Always stay positive and, no matter how many auditions or tryouts you may go for, never give up.

08:32:47 PM> LadyMonty:Is it more difficult -- stress, time and everything else -- doing a movie or a TV show?

08:33:27 PM> CoreySevier:I guess being on a TV show. It's spread out over a longer period of time so I guess being on a TV show is more difficult.

08:33:30 PM> SarahH:How did you first find out about the Little Men show?

08:34:26 PM> CoreySevier:Actually --- this is a true story. I found out from one of the boys who was in the movie who was a reoccuring actor in Lassie and I then contacted my agent about having me try out for the series since Lassie was going to end soon.

08:34:56 PM> CoreySevier:Indiana Jones.

08:36:43 PM> CoreySevier:Yes, I'm planning on pursuing a career as an actor after Little Men, which might be a long time from now.

08:38:01 PM> Little Mary:How long are the hours when you are filming and what do you do in between your scenes to pass the time?

08:38:30 PM> CoreySevier:They differ depending on how many scenes I have but the average day is probably 8 to 10 hours.

08:38:36 PM> Jeff:Corey, has popularity become a problem when your out in public, autographs and so on?

08:39:14 PM> Breanna:Is acting really hard work?

08:39:15 PM> CoreySevier:I do sign autographs for Young Lassie fans but Little Men isn't on in Canada yet.

08:40:02 PM> CoreySevier:I wouldn't call acting hard work because I love it. I call it more "challenging."

08:41:33 PM> CoreySevier:I'll be filming Little Men thru the summer but we'll be getting a 2 week hiatus in August.

08:42:07 PM> CoreySevier:Yes. I get together with all of the kids quite frequently.

08:55:19 PM> Kalina:Corey - it's great to see you're involved with such a good show - it seems like a lot of the shows you've been on have prmoted strong values (Lassies, Summer of Monkeys)... do you deliberately choose roles that have strong characters like that?

08:55:49 PM> CoreySevier:No, the things I've done have just been strong-valued shows & movies.
